Academic Path in Sustainable Energy
With a background in environmental engineering, Merve Selin Seki aimed to focus her career on low-emission systems and the energy transition. To support this direction, she sought to develop her skills in sustainable energy and digitalisation.
Through the DigiWind scholarship, she is currently pursuing the Sustainable Energy Systems Master’s programme at DTU Wind and Energy Systems.

“The evaluation report was the highlight of the application process for me,” Merve says. Coming from an environmental engineering background, she wanted to understand how her qualifications aligned with the wind energy sector. “The report was quite reassuring in confirming that my background and industrial experiences are well aligned and that I am pursuing the right path.”

Merve notes that the structure of the learning modules provides a useful variety of academic approaches. The masterclasses are delivered by different experienced academics, offering diverse teaching styles and perspectives.
