Period:

Expected duration:

3–6 Months

Format:

Hybrid

Level:

Advanced

Language of instruction:

English

Requirements:

It is assumed that the student has a basic understanding of fluid mechanics and stochastics (on Brightspace self tests are available). A basic skill of Matlab is assumed: you should be able to read from and write to a text file, write and/or modify simple functions (m-files). Furthermore, it is recommended that you already have a basic knowledge of wind turbines; e.g. AE4W02TU, Introduction to Wind Turbines: Physics and Technology.

Teaching and assessment methods:

Lecture + assignments + practical. Written / digital exam (scheduled in the exam period after Q4).
