Meet Our Partners: Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR)

We are excited to introduce Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) as a key partner in the DigiWind project. IMR is at the vanguard of technological innovation and research, making significant contributions across various sectors. In the DigiWind project, IMR’s expertise will be essential in developing the DigiWind virtual campus, an innovative platform designed to provide seamless access to diverse course modules offered by participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Centres of Excellence (CoE), and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

IMR will lead the specification, development, and implementation of the DigiWind virtual campus. This platform will revolutionize the way learning is approached in the wind energy sector, moving from traditional physical learning environments to dynamic extended reality and education metaverses. The virtual campus will enable hybrid environments that foster curiosity-based learning and provide industry professionals with the latest insights and skills.
