DigiWind successfully showcased its innovative digital programmes and technologies at ENLIT Europe 2025, the premier event for the European energy sector, which took place from November 18 to 20 in Bilbao, Spain.
DigiWind was one of the central projects featured at the F6S Innovation Energy Efficiency booth (Stand 5.F30-S08), a vibrant hub within the highly visible EU Projects Zone. The project’s participation offered an invaluable opportunity to connect with leading industry players, potential partners, and the next generation of energy professionals.
The highlight of the event for the DigiWind consortium was the keynote presentation during the dedicated session, ‘Digital Technologies for RES’. This session brought together key projects and thought leaders to discuss how innovative digital solutions are fundamentally transforming the renewable energy landscape.
Representing the project, Kristine Bilgrav-Nielsen, Project Partner & CCO from Cadpeople, delivered a compelling keynote address. She shared insights into DigiWind’s pioneering work and its role in advancing the European energy transition through innovative digital tools and specialized education programmes.
The F6S Innovation Energy Efficiency booth served as a dynamic showcase of European R&D excellence. DigiWind stood alongside 14 other impactful EU-funded projects, fostering a spirit of collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The DigiWind consortium was actively represented on-site by a dedicated team. Laura Cyrne (Project Partner, F6S Innovation) and Laura Jakobsen (Project Partner, Cadpeople) engaged extensively with attendees.
Their efforts ensured high visibility for DigiWind, resulting in fruitful interactions with industry leaders, researchers, and students. The team distributed project flyers and established valuable connections, laying the groundwork for future collaborations and amplifying the project’s impact across the energy ecosystem.
