Course Overview
The course introduces students to the fundamentals of electrical engineering, electronics, and electromechanical energy conversion. Topics include basic electrical laws and concepts, measurement of electrical and non-electrical quantities, electric drives, power generation and distribution, and fundamentals of electronics and power electronics. Students also learn principles of safe operation with electrical devices. Laboratory sessions reinforce theoretical knowledge with practical experiments and simulations relevant to renewable and wind energy systems.
Main Goal
To provide students with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in electrical engineering and electromechanical energy conversion, with applications in renewable and wind energy systems.

Teaching and assessment methods:
Lectures (30h), exercises (15h), and laboratories (30h). Assessment based on practical test (50%) and written test (50%).
